👉Miss Universe 2023: Nicaragua’s Sheynnis Palacios has been announced as the winner of the Miss Universe 2023 title, defeating India's Shweta Sharda in a grand event that took place at the Jose Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador on November 19,2023.

👉Emmy Awards: 2 Indians won the award. 1)Ekta Kapoor for direction and 2)Beer Das for comedy.

👉Booker Award 2023: Ireland's Paul Lynch wins booker for his novel " Prophet Song". Set in Dublin, it tells the story of a family grappling with a terrifying new world in which the democratic norms they are used to begin to disappear.

👉Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award 2023 The award goes to Michel Dughlas, Hollywood actor and producer. Renowned Hollywood actor and producer Micheal Douglas will be felicitated with the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award at the 54th International Film Festival of India in Goa.

👉32 saraswati samman for year 2022: Noted author and activist Sivasankari was honoured with the prestigious Saraswati Samman for the year 2022 for her memoir written in Tamil, Surya Vamsam,

👉Dada Saheb Phalke Award(53rd): Dada Saheb Falke Award(51st) is to be conferred on actress Vahida Rahman(big name in yesteryears). This annual award is for the year 2021. She is the 8th actress to get this award.

👉Norman Borlaug Award 2023:  Odia scientist Swati Nayak wins the Norman Borlaug Field Award. The award is given to exceptional scientists under 40 years of age who work in the field of food and nutrition security and hunger eradication and exhibit the character and attributes of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and Green Revolution’s Chief Architect Dr. Norman Borlaug.

👉Police awards on ID 2023: 954 Police personnel awarded Police Medals on the occasion of the Independence Day, 2023. 01 awarded President’s Police Medal for Gallantry (PPMG), 229 awarded Police Medal for Gallantry (PMG), 82 awarded President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PPM) and 642 awarded Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PM)

👉"Order of the Nile": Indian p.m. Modi added one more feather to his cap, when he was conferred with the highest honor of Egypt, viz Order of the Nile.

👉International Booker Award 2023" The award went to the Bulgarian author Georgi Gospodinov for his book Time Shelter.

👉Vyas Samman 2022: this honor goes to Gyan Chaturvedi for his novel "Pagalkhana". This is the 32nd samman,

👉Padam Awards 2023: these awards are given away on the eve of Republic Day, annually. They include Padam Vibhushan (India's second-highest civilian honor), Padam Bhushan & Padam Shree.This year a total of 106 Padam Awards have been declared, viz. 6 Padam Vibhushan, 9 Padam Bhushan, and 91 Padam Shree. The list includes 19 women & 2 NRI/OIC/PIO/foreigners and 7 posthumous awardees.

👉The song "Naatu Naatu" at Golden Globe & 'Oscars': The song ‘Naatu Naatu’, from the wildly popular Telugu film RRR, made history at the 80th Golden Globes as it became the first Indian song to win the Best Original Song award. Composed by M M Keeravani, and sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, it is an energetic song featuring the film’s lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR. 

NaatuNaatu has been nominated for Best Original song at the 95th Academy Awards.

👉Grammy Awards: Music composer Ricky Kej, based out of Bengaluru, has won his third Grammy Award for the album 'Divine Tides' and dedicated the honor to his home country, India.
