=>Census 2027 will be digital: 

=>India to conduct its Census in 2027: India will count its population by March 1, 2027, in a census to be held after an unprecedented 16-year gap, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs announced on Wednesday (June 4, 2025). This will be the country's first digital census, and the first in independent India to include an enumeration of castes as well.


=>Bharat Gen: Recently, the Ministry of Science & Technology launched BharatGen, a generative AI initiative designed to enhance public service delivery. 

  • It aims to create foundational models in language, speech, and computer vision to address India's socio-cultural and linguistic diversity. 
  • It is the world’s first government-funded Multimodal Large Language Model (LLM) project for Indian languages. 
  • LLMs are AI systems capable of understanding and generating human language by processing vast amounts of text data. 

=>Indian Railways tests India’s first train ATM: 

Passengers of Panchavati and Janshatabdi Express can soon withdraw cash during their train journey. Indian Railways successfully tested the country's first ATM inside a train coach.

=>Gross Domestic Knowledge Product:  It is a proposed metric to measure the contribution of knowledge to economic and social life, supplementing Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Gross Geographic Product (GGP) per capita is the economic indicator illustrated in Figure 4. This map shows the ability of spatial information to be presented at different levels and is a good example of how economic.


=>Gyan Bharatam mission: The Union Budget 2025-26 announced a special mission for the survey, documentation, and conservation of India’s manuscript heritage. Launched as the ‘Gyan Bharatam Mission’, it intends to cover more than one crore of manuscripts.
