=>Moran Emergency Landing Facility: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft landed at the Northeast’s first Emergency Landing Facility (ELF) in Assam’s Moran on Saturday morning, marking a major milestone in the state’s strategic and infrastructure development.
The specially designed stretch of national highway has been developed to enable Indian Air Force fighter jets to take off and land during emergencies. The Prime Minister inaugurated the facility in the poll-bound state by making the first landing on the 4.2-km stretch.
=>Ammunition facility: Solar Defence & Aerospace Limited's state-of-the-art, fully automated Medium Caliber Ammunition Factory inaugurated in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The facility will produce 30mm ammunition for the Indian Army and Navy.
=>Bhairav Force: Bhairav is the latest special force raised by the Indian Army to meet the challenges of hybrid and multi-domain warfare. All Bhairav operatives are trained to handle drones and employ them in real-time operations, including targeting enemy bases and formations deep inside hostile territory. The force has been conceptualised using lessons from recent global conflicts and India’s own operational experiences.
