- Anju Bobby George is : Legendary Indian long jumper
Anju Bobby George has been bestowed with the Woman of the Year Award byWorld Athletics for grooming talent in the country and advocating gender equality.
The 44-year-old Anju, the only Indian to have won a medal in theWorld Championships with a long jump bronze in the 2003 edition, was named for the award in the world body's annual awards
- World Cup T-20: Australia won the cup defeating New Zealand.
- India to host World Yoga Championship 2022: to be held in June 2022.
- Manu Bhaker won gold: in the 10m pistol mixed team with Iran’s Javad Foroughi in the President’s Cup 2021.
- Tajamul Islam, Won gold in World Kickboxing Championship: for the 2nd time, 13-year-old Tajamul Islam has clinched the gold medal in World Kick Boxing Championship. This is the second time that the girl from Kashmir has achieved the feat. The championship was held in Egypt’s Cairo. Before this, she had won the title in 2016. A resident of Bandipora district in Kashmir, Tajamul Islam has been practicing the sport of kickboxing since she was 6 years old( in 2016).

- Hockey Team of India: set a record of clinching maximum no. of medals in Olympic Hockey. It has amassed 12 medals up to now(8 Golds, 1 Silver & 3 Bronzes), this record was with Germany earlier, of 11 medals.

- P.V.Sindhu: the Indian shuttler won the Bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics 2021. She became the 1st Indian woman to win 2 medals in Olympics in the individual event, That too, with different colors. She had won a silver in Rio Olympics in 2016.

- Mitali Raj: is an Indian cricketer and the captain of the Indian women's national cricket team. A right-handed opening batter. She is the highest run-scorer in women's international cricket and the only female cricketer to surpass the 7,000 run mark in Women's One Day International matches. she is the first player to score seven consecutive 50s in ODIs. Raj also holds the record for most half-centuries in WODIs.

- Deepika Kumari(the ace archer of India): made a hat-trick of winning Gold medals at the World Archery Cup, in Paris. This is Deepika's second individual World Cup Gold medal of 2021 and the third gold of the day as she had earlier won gold in the women's team and mixed team event as well.
