♦National Maritime Heritage Complex: It is to note that the National Maritime Heritage Complex will be made within the ASI site of Lothal that is located 80 km away from Ahmedabad in Gujarat. The project, once completed, will be made an international tourist destination in India where people from across the countries can take a look at the maritime heritage of India from ancient to modern times.
♦"Ever-Given": "Suez - Canal" was in the news when The massive container ship ("EVER-GIVEN) that ran aground in the Suez Canal, halting traffic in one of the world’s busiest waterways, got stuck.
The ship, called the Ever Given, became horizontally wedged in the waterway following heavy winds. Nearly 19,000 ships passed through the canal during 2020, for an average of 51.5 per day, according to the Suez Canal Authority

♦Kanhargargaon wildlife Sanctuary: Maharastra Govt. has decided to upgrade Kanhargaon in Chandarpur Distt. of Maharastra as Wildlife Sanctuary, it will be the 50th Wildlife Sanctuary of Maharastra.
♦Suryadhar Lake: Uttarakhand Chief Minister inaugurated the Suryadhar lake at Doiwala near here, which will address the drinking water and irrigational needs of nearly 20 villages around it and is also set to become a major tourist and water sports destination in coming times.

Devika Bridge The bridge is located at Udhampur of Jammu & Kashmir. Built at a cost of Rs. 75 lakhs.
6. ♦ 1st ever Hindu Temple in Pakistan Capital, Islamabad: The temple is the first to be constructed in Islamabad since the Independence of Pakistan. The temple will be devoted to Lord Krishna. The name of the temple will be Shri Krishna Mandir.
7. ♦No Ambubachi Mela at Kamkhya Temple, Guwahati: At the centuries-old historic Kamakhya Temple at Guwahati, for the first time in six centuries of record available from 1565, the 5 days Ambubachi Mela will not be organized due by keeping in mind the possibility of spreading the COVID-19 virus.
8. ♦1st Agro SEZ in Tripura: The Government of India approved the first SEZ (Special Economic Zone) at Sabroom, Tripura. It was announced that the SEZ will primarily focus on Agro-based food processing.
