=>Archery World Cup 2024,Shanghai:   The Indian men’s recurve team of Tarundeep Rai, Pravin Jadhav and Dhiraj Bommadevara won the gold medal at the Archery World Cup 2024 in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, on Sunday while Deepika Kumari bagged a silver in the women’s individual recurve event.

Gukesh created History by at  the Fide Candidates tournament: Gukesh, 17, makes history as the youngest winner of the Fide Candidates tournament, set to face Ding Liren in a World Championship clash. Gukesh made history by becoming the youngest-ever player to win the Fide Candidates tournament. He smashed former world champion Garry Kasparov’s record (20 years, 11 months) by over three years, and became the only Indian other than his mentor Viswanathan Anand to win the Candidates

=>World atheletics to give prize money at Olympics: World Athletics will become the first international federation to award prize money at an Olympics, beginning at this year's Games in Paris. The gold medal winners in each of the 48 athletics events in Paris will receive $50,000.

=>Bopanna is the ATP Masters 1000 champion: Ace Indian tennis player Rohan Bopanna rewrote his own record to continue to be the oldest ATP Masters 1000 champion as he and his Australian partner Matt Ebden clinched the men's doubles crown at the Miami Open here.

Mumbai won a record-extending 42^nd Ranji Trophy title, beating Vidarbha by 169 runs on the final day of the 2024 season. Chasing a daunting 538-run target Vidarbha put up a commendable fight with skipper Akshay Wadkar scoring a hundred but Mumbai spinners ensured Vidarbha were bowled out for 368.
