=> India's 43rd UNESCO World Heritage Site: Charaideo Maidams, Assam - Pyramids of Assam. India's 43rd entry in the UNESCO World Heritage List is the Moidams – the Mound-Burial System of the Ahom Dynasty.

=>Cow as the Mother of the State: Maharasta state has accorded this honor to the CowThe Maharashtra government has granted the status of 'Rajyamata-Gomata' (state mother cow) to indigenous cow breeds, citing their cultural, agricultural, and medicinal significance.

=>Names changed: name of the "Darbar Hall"   has been changed to "Gantantra Mandap" & name of the "Ashok Hall" is changed to "Ashok Mandap". 

=>Kozhikode: has been included in the UNESCO Creative City network as the "CITY OF LITTERATURE"

=>Jyoti Ratre: A 55-years-old woman from MP became the oldest Indian lady who scaled Mount Everest.

=>Deepti Jeevanji broke world record: Indian para-athlete Deepthi Jeevanji etched her name in history by winning the gold medal in the women's T20 400m event at the World Para Athletics Championships 2024.

=>Mumbai is the 3rd top city of billionaires: Mumbai overtakes Beijing to become Asia’s billionaire capital for the first time. He is only after New York(1st) & London(2nd).



Topping the 2024 global rich list for cities is New York (119), and London (97). 

In Asia, Mumbai — India’s financial capital — moved ahead with 92 billionaires, according to Hurun. Following close behind are Beijing (91) and Shanghai (87).

=>Ahmadnagar(Maharashtra) was renamed: Ahilya Nagar. The city was known as Bhinar in early Yadava times.

> ... ... =>India's longest Glass bridge:  India’s longest glass bridge in Kerala's Vagamon village of Idduki district. The bridge, located on the Wagamon hills at a height of 3,600 ft above sea level, has a length of 40 m (120 ft). The walkway hugs the green-covered hill at the suicide point in Wagamon, and standing at the end of the bridge one could get a stunning view of the green carpeted hills and valleys and the distant view of Koottikkal and Kokkayar towns nearby.
