=>Forbs most powerful women: Forbes 2024 list of The Worlds 100 Most Powerful Women features three Indians Nirmala Sitharaman, Roshni Nadar Malhotra and Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw.

=>Donald Trump named as "man of the year 2024": Mr. Trump also received the title in 2016, after his first presidential election victory, and now joins a group of 16 people who have been chosen more than once.

=>Miss Grand International 2024 title: won by Rachel Gupta,   Rachel Gupta, 20, from Jalandhar was crowned Miss Grand International (MGI) 2024 on Friday in Bangkok, Thailand, where the final was being held. Rachel is the first Indian in MGI history to win the Golden Crown

 It is for the first time that an Indian grabbed the title.

=>Bala Devi: Ngangom Bala Devi is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for the club Manipur Police and the India national team. She is currently the first Indian female footballer to have 50 International scored goals to her credit

Rhea Singha has been crowned Miss Universe India 2024, and she will now represent India at the global Miss Universe 2024 pageant.

=>Youngest Indian at Hurun rich list 2024: Quick commerce app Zepto co-founder Kaivalya Vohra has been named the youngest person on the Hurun India Rich List 2024. The 21-year-old has a net worth of around ₹3,600 crore and has been named in the Hurun list for the third time.

=>Jyothi Varaaji: is the 1st Indian woman to qualify in the 100-meter Hurdle for the  Olympics.

=>Sunil Chhetri: Record goalscorer and caps holder for the Blue Tigers will made his final outing ,. Iconic India captain Sunil Chhetri, played his last game against Qatar.

=>Vaishali Ramesh Babu: became the 3rd female GM. She was approved by FIDE.and is in the 1st brother-sister combination of GM with her brother Praggnanandhaa.

=>Narsingh Yadav: Former CWG gold medallist Narsingh Yadav has been named the chairman of the 7-member WFI panel. The United World Wrestling while lifting the suspension of WFI had mandated the formation of a panel to resolve the grievances of protesting wrestlers.

=>Kamal Kishor: United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres announced today the appointment of Kamal Kishore of India as Assistant Secretary-General and Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction, United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR).

=>71st Miss World: Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic is the new Miss World.  Miss World 2023 was the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant, held on 9 March 2024 at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. Karolina Bielawska of Poland crowned her successor Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic at the end of the event. This is the second time Czech Republic has won the pageant.
