=>India & Bhutan join via Railway services:  the two governments have agreed to establish two cross-border rail links between Banarhat and Samtse and Kokrajhar and Gelephu. "This will be the first set of rail connectivity projects with Bhutan." 

=>California(USA) declares Diwali a state(Public) holiday: California officially declared Diwali a public holiday by passing the AB 268 bill in September 2025. This historic cultural win allows public schools, community colleges, and state employees the option to observe the festival, promoting inclusivity and acknowledging the large South Asian community in the state. The bill passed both the California Assembly and Senate with overwhelming support 

=>Russia's new cancer vaccine is open for all:Russia's Enteromix is a recently announced, personalized, mRNA-based cancer vaccine that uses advanced technology similar to COVID-19 vaccines to train the immune system to target and destroy cancer cells. Developed by the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) and the Gamaleya Center

=>Nepal gets a new PM,after the clashes: Nepal President Ram Chandra Poudel appointed former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as the country’s new Prime Minister and dissolved the Parliament on Friday (September 12, 2025), as days of political turmoil showed signs of abating in the Himalayan nation. He also announced fresh elections on March 5, 2026.

=>1st Atal Innovation Center(Outside India): Union Education Minister inaugurated India’s first overseas Atal Innovation Centre at IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi campus during a two-day UAE visit on September 10-11. These AICs act as business incubators and are established at universities, institutions and corporates. They promote world-class innovation by supporting entrepreneurs in building scalable and sustainable enterprises. In 2025, there are 72 AICs operational across India.

=>Operation Brahma: MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO MYANMAR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS BY INDIAN ARMY.

In a swift response to the devastating earthquake that struck Myanmar on 28th March 2025, the Indian Army, under ‘Operation Brahma’, is deploying a specialised medical task force to provide urgent humanitarian assistance.

=>Bhutan King visited Kumbha to take a dip in the Ganges: Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and took a dip and performed other rituals at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati river, during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.

=>Chief guest at Republic day 2025 celebration:  Indonesia President Prabowo Subianto was the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations this year, making him the fourth Indonesian leader to be given this honor.
