=>Russia bans social media platforms: Russia has moved to ban access to major social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram, as part of a broader push to tighten internet control and push users toward domestic services.
=>Dhaka Elections: The Bangladesh Nationalist Party, led by Tarique Rahman, has won a sweeping victory in the country’s first election since a Gen Z uprising toppled the autocratic regime of Sheikh Hasina.
Results from the election commission confirmed the BNP alliance had won 212 seats, returning the party to power after 20 years, while the rival alliance, led by the Islamist party Jamaat-e-Islami, won 77 seats.
