=>Hydrogen powered train in India:  India's First Indigenous Hydrogen Train is set to revolutionize rail transport! With a 1,200 HP engine (the world's most powerful hydrogen engine), zero emissions, and a 140 km/h speed, it marks a major leap toward sustainable transportation. The first trial run starts in January 2025 on the Jind-Sonipat route!


=>Dust Experiment (DEX): Dust Experiment (DEX) is the first Indian-made instrument to hunt for these high speed Interplanetary Dust Particles (IDPs).

=>Bio Bitumen: India has taken a major step towards sustainable infrastructure as the Union Minister of State for Science and Technology announced the successful technology transfer of “Bio-Bitumen via Pyrolysis: From Farm Residue to Roads.” This breakthrough signals the beginning of a “Clean, Green Highways” era, reducing dependence on petroleum-based materials while tackling agricultural waste and carbon emissions.

=>3D printed Automated Weather System: Indian scientists led by IITM Pune have developed 3D-printed Automatic Weather Stations under Mission Mausam. The first units will be installed in Delhi from February, helping improve local weather forecasts through dense, cost-effective, solar-powered observation networks.

=>Gandiva AI tool: is a NATGRID’s AI-driven intelligence query toolGandiva transforms NATGRID from a data-access grid into a smart intelligence tool by adding single-point search, advanced analytics, faster lead generation, and AI-assisted insights. According to the report, the Home Ministry on December 9 informed the Lok Sabha that an Organised Crime Network Database is being developed on NATGRID’s IT platform to facilitate secure data-sharing between National Investigation Agency (NIA) and State Anti-Terror Squads (ATS).

The ministry said upgraded NATGRID tools, particularly ‘Gandiva’, supporting multi-source data collection.
